  • Paul Birrell

Paul Birrell is the Founder of DeliveryNow.com, which he launched back in 1992—long before delivery apps were cool, algorithms were trendy, or anyone knew what “last-mile logistics” meant. Since then, Paul has built and scaled multiple successful businesses across delivery, catering, and marketing, quietly shaping the foodservice and delivery landscape while the rest of us were still figuring out fax machines.

As President of The RMDA, Paul has been deeply involved in the organization’s leadership for decades, lending his experience, vision, and steady hand to help guide operators, service providers, and tech innovators through an ever-evolving industry. His institutional knowledge runs deep, his opinions are well-earned, and his passion for independent operators remains unwavering.

Despite a career that spans more than three decades, Paul firmly maintains that he is not yet 21 years old—a claim no one has successfully disproven. When he’s not building businesses or advocating for the delivery community, you can usually find him sharing hard-won insights, cracking dry one-liners, and reminding everyone that experience never goes out of style.
